Heat Treatment

Services – Heat Treatment for Export – ISPM 15

Pallets and crates for export must be treated to kill insects that may be within the lumber.

To comply with ISPM 15 (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures), export pallets and crates typically are heated in a chamber to 155F and that temperature is maintained for thirty minutes. Each item is then stamped to certify treatment, and certifying documents are available.

Alternately, ISPM 15 compliance can be achieved by fumigating with methyl bromide gas, and we can arrange that as well.

Whether you are exporting on new or recycled pallets or crates, we can assure your shipment conforms with ISPM 15.
